Santa Clara, California, United States Hardware Summary Posted: Feb 26, 2025 Role Number: 200592415 The process industrialization group is looking for a motivated process engineer committed to integrating and qualifying multi-stack thin films into functional devices. You will develop and mature process workflows, establish critical-to-quality metrics, and use statistical process control to ensure successful technology release in Apple products. Description Given the start-up nature of the project, a successful engineer needs to take ownership of projects, work independently, adapt to evolving priorities, collaborate effectively, and tackle challenges proactively. Develop, evaluate, and improve microelectronic laser, interconnect, stacking, and packaging processes. Drive process readiness activities and prepare for transfer to manufacturing. Implement procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating equipment, process, and product reliability. Establish SPC systems and maintain data collection for performance tracking. Coordinate with cross-functional teams on schedules, metrics, and risk mitigation. Collaborate with vendors on specifications, equipment procurement, and quality evaluation. Define critical-to-quality metrics and implement solutions to achieve reproducibility. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% Preferred Qualifications Master's degree and 10+ years relevant experience Experience in thin-films development, assembly, stacking, packaging, or testing Leadership in engineering projects Proficiency with statistics and data analysis tools (JMP, Minitab, Python) Strong engineering methodology and quality assurance knowledge Advanced knowledge of laser systems and automation in a semiconductor context Experience with measurement and characterization techniques (FTIR, SEM, TEM, etc.) Pay & Benefits The base pay range is $165,500 to $293,800, depending on skills and experience.
