TRC's client, located near Savannah GA, has several direct hire opportunities for Quality Engineering professionals to join their team!
They are seeking individuals with varying levels of experience from Specialist to Assistant Manager.

The Automotive Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of automotive systems and components. This role collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective vehicle solutions that meet performance, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and validate automotive systems, components, or subsystems
Support vehicle or component development from concept through production launch
Create and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Conduct analysis, simulation, testing, and validation activities to ensure performance and compliance
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and scalable
Work with suppliers on component development, sourcing, and technical issue resolution
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, warranty, or field issues
Ensure compliance with applicable automotive standards, regulations, and safety requirements
Participate in design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
3+ years of engineering experience in an automotive or related manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and development processes
Experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) and engineering documentation
Familiarity with automotive quality systems and standards (IATF 16949, ISO, APQP)
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
