Job Details
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. * Review and analyze project specifications, architectural plans, and blueprints to ensure project requirements are met. * Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and safely. * Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including quality control, safety, and communication with project stakeholders. * Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction specialists, providing valuable input based on your expertise. * Implement and enforce site safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all staff. * Regularly inspect the construction site to ensure work is proceeding according to plan and that all regulations are being followed. * Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders, keeping them informed about project status and any potential issues.
Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Mission Critical Superintendent, Data Center Superintendent, or in a similar role within ground up construction. * Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing complex construction projects, preferably in the data center environment. * Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines. * Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to foresee potential problems and implement solutions. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. * Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. * Certification in construction safety or related field is a plus.
