Company Description
Our client is an innovative and forward-looking company that offers technical consulting, design, and programming services for show control and the entertainment industry.
Additionally, since 2015, it has been designing and manufacturing its platform for audiovisual system monitoring and management
Engage in client discovery sessions alongside sales, design, and engineering team
Participate in project design meetings with clients, perform site surveys, create assessment reports
Analyze user needs and requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Create AV and Control design packages composed of concept block diagrams, system CAD drawings, design narratives, programming specifications, performance specifications, and budget estimates for every phase of the projects (Concept, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents)
Communicate and coordinate technical design solutions with clients, installation teams, and creative teams
Assist with technical oversight, network implementation, system configuration, red lines, as-built drawings, commissioning procedures, and design questions during integration and commissioning of systems
Assist programmers with technical direction when developing user interfaces and control programs
Assist account executives in the preparation of consultant specified bids and submittals
Qualifications
Knowledge of advanced network design methods applied to AV systems (routing, VLANs, QoS, IGMP, PTP)
Knowledge of Medialon, Q-SYS, Node-Red, Crestron or other control system architecture, programming, implementation, and testing
Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Lua, JavaScript…) a plus
Knowledge of audio and video processing (Q-SYS, Barco E2, Analog Way Aquilon)
Knowledge of media servers (Pixera, 7th Sense, Disguise, Green Hippo, Watchout) and generative engines (Touch Designer, Notch, Unreal) preferred
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems preferred
Experience with AutoCAD or Vectorworks
Familiarity with MS Visio or OmniGraffle desired
Proficient in MS Office applications
Ability to write scope of work, design narrative, and other technical documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Exhibits a positive attitude and establishes professional relations with others
Good organizational, work management, and time management skills
Self-driven and takes initiative
Training / Education
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Engineering program or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
5-10 years of overall Audio-Visual commercial solution/services industry experience preferred. Otherwise, will depend on training, education, and personal achievements.
A Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or CTS-I or CTS-D certification is a plus.
Working Conditions
Occasional domestic or foreign travel
Onsite environment will vary for each project. Employee may be asked to wear protective gear on building sites
Office environment at company premises
Valid Driver’s License required
