What You'll Do The Cloud Platform team manages interfaces to our customer-facing products, including observability, management tools via Console UI, REST/gRPC API, Infrastructure-as-code, CLI, and SDKs. We also oversee our billing platform and internal/external administrative tools. We are expanding our team across multiple experience levels to meet growing service demand. Role As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design, build, scale, and maintain backend systems, APIs, and databases. You will work at the intersection of design, developer experience, and platform architecture to scale CoreWeave's Cloud Platform. Responsibilities include: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape strategy and roadmap. Developing scalable, secure, and performant backend services and APIs. Participating in architectural decisions to align solutions with business goals. Writing maintainable, testable code and conducting code reviews. Debugging and resolving production issues promptly. Working in an agile environment with a passionate team of engineers. Who You Are Experience building and maintaining production-grade backend services. Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript. Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security best practices. Familiarity with observability, metrics, and logging. Understanding of CI/CD and testing practices. Database design experience with SQL. Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration. Ownership of code quality, performance, and maintainability. Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Preferred Experience with Kubernetes and its components. Building reliable, scalable data-processing platform services. Experience with Prometheus/PromQL and system monitoring. Managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.). Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools. Additional Information We hire across multiple levels; our interview process helps determine appropriate leveling. Salary ranges from $165,000 to $230,000, based on experience, skills, and location.
