We’re now looking for aBusiness Intelligence and Data Engineerto help us unlock the full potential of our data for internal insights, client reporting, and impactful business decisions.
About The Job As aBI and Data Engineer, you will:
Build and maintain data pipelines: Consolidate data from tools like Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and Firestore into BigQuery for efficient storage and analysis.
Develop business intelligence solutions: Design and implement Looker dashboards to drive actionable insights and client reporting.
Collaborate across teams: Work with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
Ensure data quality: Validate and monitor data pipelines to maintain accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Tell stories with data: Translate complex datasets into meaningful narratives that drive business outcomes.
Innovate:Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and data accessibility for all teams.
Your Experience And Skills Technical Expertise:
5+ years of experience with SQL and building ETL pipelines.
Experience with data warehousing solutions, preferably BigQuery.
Proficiency with Looker or similar BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Familiarity with Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar analytics platforms.
Experience with cloud computing technologies, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with Python or other programming languages for data workflows.
Business Intelligence Acumen:
Proven track record of creating dashboards and reports tailored for diverse audiences.
Strong understanding of data storytelling and business impact.
Experience defining and implementing KPIs and success metrics for business units.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving mindset with an eye for process improvement.
Bonus Points for:
Knowledge of Logz.io, Sentry, or similar tools.
Background in agile methodologies.
