Location: Johnson City, TN (100% remote)

Travel: Must be willing to travel to Johnson City, TN for training and onboarding (Hotel, airfare will be reimbursed)

Position is 100% remote but must be willing to travel to Johnson City, TN.

Hotel, airfare will be reimbursed for the first week of onboarding.

*Position Overview*

Client is located in Johnson city, TN is looking to fill a contract position for a Firmware Engineer. You will participate as part of an international project team.

*Responsibilities*

* Contributes to the design, implementation, and testing of both software and firmware solutions for the company Industry product portfolio. You will work in an agile development environment in a team focused on delivering effective and robust solutions for our customers. * As part of this team, you will be included in interactions with domestic and international stakeholders. * You must be proficient in problem solving and learning new technologies when needed.

*Requirements*

* Education: BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

*Preferred*

* Hands on experience with C/C++ and a willingness to learn

* Object-Oriented design methodology

* Able to analyze technical problems and provide solutions

* Demonstrate good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
