Chief of Staff - Business Development
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Chief of Staff - Business Development for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be five months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Position Summary: Join our dynamic team where you will play a pivotal role in business development. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can seamlessly manage the rhythm of the business and support executive leadership.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm: Attend all meetings with the team leader, take notes, follow up on next steps, and ensure the leader is prepared for both customer and internal meetings.
Collaborate closely with the executive assistant and communications staff to plan events, prepare materials, and manage the business rhythm.
Occasional travel to key events and possibly international trips; regular coordination with global teams and chiefs of staff in other industries.
Qualifications:
Years of Experience Required: 10 years in relevant roles, especially supporting C-suite or in chief of staff/business manager positions.
Degrees or Certifications Required: Preferably a degree in business management or a related field; experience in large tech companies or consulting is highly valued.
Best: Previous chief of staff/business manager experience at major tech companies, strong executive presence, and experience with global teams.
Average: General project management or executive assistant background without direct C-suite or global exposure.
Attention to detail, ability to keep the leader prepared and organized, proactive management of business rhythm, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
PowerPoint: Minimum 10 years—must be able to quickly create and edit executive-level presentations.
Word/Excel: Minimum 10 years—proficient in document and data management for business operations.
Experience Supporting C-suite/Global Teams: Minimum 10 years—demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, coordinate across time zones, and support high-level executives.
