We're seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead and deliver complex land development projects. If you thrive managing multi-faceted engineering projects from planning through execution and enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships while mentoring teams, this role is for you. You'll be the go-to expert ensuring projects meet technical standards, budgets, and timelines with precision and professionalism. Employment Type : Direct Hire, Full-time Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 annually
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required). Professional Engineer (PE) license (required). Minimum 7 years' experience in civil engineering with strong project management expertise, preferably in land development. Proven success delivering complex, large-scale projects on scope, budget, and schedule. Deep knowledge of civil engineering principles, industry standards, and practical applications. Proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, or similar tools. Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, design, and management of civil engineering projects such as land/site development, roads, water supply, sewer collection, and drainage systems. Prepare and critically review proposals, contracts, budgets, schedules, drawings, specifications, and reports. Coordinate seamlessly with clients, contractors, consultants, regulators, and public agencies to keep projects on track. Monitor project progress and quality; implement corrective actions proactively to maintain performance standards. Ensure strict compliance with all relevant codes, standards, regulations, and best practices. Act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and communication effectively. Identify risks early, manage changes, and resolve conflicts to keep projects moving smoothly. Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design and provide on-the-spot technical guidance to field teams. Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Drive continuous improvement in engineering methods, processes, and tools.
