The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and experience in municipal services and site development. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed engineering designs for municipal and site development projects, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts. Prepare technical specifications, complete quantity take-offs, and cost estimates; and develop construction schedules. Produce technical reports, specifications, and construction documents to support project deliverables. Engage with clients to understand their project needs and provide professional insights and solutions. Prepare and submit applications for permits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including planners, surveyors, and environmental scientists, to ensure project success. Keep current with design criteria and technology.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in design and documentation. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Knowledge and understanding of land development process. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Requirements: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution 5 years of job-related experience Professional Engineering License is required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
