Position Description As a Cloud Software Engineer at Client, you will contribute to innovative mobility solutions, focusing on building and driving our Data Science / AI/ML platform. You will work within a small, cross-functional team, collaborating closely with engineers, business partners, product managers, and designers to develop the Mach1ML platform-an AI/ML enablement platform aimed at democratizing Machine Learning across the enterprise, similar to Uber's Michelangelo or Facebook's FBLearner. Position Responsibilities Collaborate with Tech, Product Managers, and Owners to deliver MLOps platforms and Gen AI solutions in GCP using Python and other tools. Work with software engineers and Data Scientists on challenging AIOps and Gen AI problems. Maintain and improve CI/CD ecosystems and automate release processes. Inspect and resolve code/scripts issues, and standardize ML development practices. Innovate and share knowledge within the team, leading by example with practices like Paired Programming. Leverage latest ML/Gen AI, GCP, AIOps, and Kubernetes technologies. Skills Required Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of backend development experience in Python. 2+ years of Cloud Engineering experience, especially with GCP services like Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, BigQuery. Experience with ML workflow tools such as Airflow, Kubeflow. Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages: Python, C/C++. Knowledge of MLOps, Gen AI, DevOps tools like Jenkins/Tekton, containerization with Kubernetes and Docker, scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. Skills Preferred Advanced degree in Computer Science or Machine Learning. Experience with GCP, DevOps, AI/ML, and Gen AI. Familiarity with agile practices, coding craftsmanship, and team collaboration. Additional Information This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite per week.
