A leading U.S.-based machine tool and automation company is looking for an experienced Senior CNC Applications Engineer.

The ideal candidate is a skilled machinist and programmer with deep experience across CNC machine types and strong communication skills. What Youll Do: Provide advanced technical support for CNC machines, both remotely and on-site. Set up, program, and optimize multi-axis CNC machines for precision machining applications. Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and machining processes. Train customers on machine operation, programming, and maintenance best practices. Document programming standards, workflows, and support procedures. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to customize machining solutions. Stay current with new CNC technologies and implement improvements to enhance efficiency. What You Bring: 10+ years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, programming, and applications. Proficiency in G-code, M-code, and FANUC controls (additional platforms a plus). Strong knowledge of CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining. Background in tooling, materials, cutting strategies, and troubleshooting. Experience with CAD/CAM systems (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience. Familiarity with automation/robotics is a plus.
