Pay Range: $40/hr to $45/hr (Based on Experience)
About the Role
Join our Pharmaceutical R&D Innovation Team to develop cutting-edge Computer Vision (CV) and Generative AI models that solve real-world challenges in healthcare and aesthetics. As a Data Scientist I, youll fine-tune CNNs, implement diffusion models, and deploy scalable AI solutionsbridging the gap between research and clinical impact.
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on problem-solver with 13 years of CV/AI experience (academic or industry) who thrives in collaborative R&D environments.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, train, and optimize CV models (CNNs, ViTs, GANs, diffusion models) for medical/aesthetic imaging.
Implement Generative AI techniques (e.g., synthetic data generation, image enhancement).
Translate academic research into production-ready code (e.g., reproduce SOTA papers).
Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy models on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Analyze and preprocess image datasets (e.g., radiology, dermatology) with Python/PyTorch.
Must-Have Qualifications
Education: BS/MS in Data Science, Computer Vision, AI, or related field.
Technical Skills:
Strong Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, scikit-learn).
Experience with image-based ML (classification, segmentation, or generative tasks).
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Linux environments.
Mindset:
Curious, adaptable, and able to communicate complex ideas clearly.
Passion for applying AI to healthcare/life sciences.
Nice-to-Have
Exposure to AWS/GCP, MLOps (Docker, MLflow).
Publications or projects in CV/Generative AI (GitHub/Kaggle links welcome).
Knowledge of 3D medical imaging (CT, MRI).
