Must be a US Persons Location- Louisville/Jeffersonville-New Albany, IN Area (- 1st Shift) Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years experience in PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred) Ability to create electrical schematics Experience with servos, motion controllers, and motors Proficiency in Java, C#, and C++ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Experience in manufacturing or custom equipment Experience with 3D design software Experience using software development tools, database systems, or scripting languages Preferred Skills: ITAR Work Regulations knowledge Job Responsibilities: Lead the development of control systems for automated equipment Manage all phases of controls development from requirements to commissioning Collaborate with mechanical and process engineering teams for system requirements Specify electrical, pneumatic, thermal, and motion control components Oversee creation and revision of electrical schematics Design and develop control systems software including PLCs and servo drives programming Execute system startup, debug, tuning, and machine qualification Provide troubleshooting support for production machinery Manage technical resources and coordinate project timelines Implement software changes for upgrades or improvements Contribute to creation of software templates and standards Ensure system compliance with safety and performance standards Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
