Job Description: The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions, with a focus on IAM/PAM systems like CyberArk. The role involves ensuring security compliance, managing privileged access, and collaborating with various teams to enhance security posture.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CIAM, CIGE (security/IAM-focused)
CyberArk certifications (e.g., Defender, Sentry)
Microsoft Entra/Azure certifications
Required Experience: 5+ years in IAM/PAM roles, with hands-on experience in CyberArk or similar tools
Experience with cloud identity management (Azure AD, AWS IAM, Google Cloud)
Background in security compliance (e.g., SOX, NIST, ISO 27001)
PAM expertise: CyberArk, Delinea, or similar
IAM solutions: MS Entra ID (preferred), Okta, Ping
Protocols/Standards: SAML, OAuth, LDAP, Kerberos, RBAC, PKI
Infrastructure: Active Directory, Windows/Linux OS, cloud platforms
Security concepts: Zero Trust, MFA, least privilege access
Core Responsibilities: Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise PAM solutions (CyberArk preferred)
Establish best practices for privileged access controls and automation
Act as escalation point for PAM/security issues
Support application teams in integrating PAM/IAM solutions
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
Collaborate with architecture teams to align IAM frameworks
Troubleshoot and optimize cloud and on-premises integrations
Research emerging IAM trends like Zero Trust, MFA, SSO
Generate KPIs and risk reports
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Collaboration skills with IT, security, and business teams
Project management skills
