Position Summary: Aegis Aerospace is currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) under the IRES contract at Schriever Space Force Base. This position provides Tier II technical support and cybersecurity expertise within both Windows and Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities: The candidate will: Provide Tier II technical support for resolving software, hardware, and IT-related issues for Windows and Linux operating systems. Deliver customer service and end-user assistance directly at the workstation, docking station, or related IT hardware to resolve issues. Analyze system logs to identify performance or behavior anomalies, track trends, and recommend corrective actions. Understand and evaluate hardware/software security vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigations. Respond to user inquiries regarding installation, configuration, customization, and operation of supported systems. Use diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues. Escalate complex issues to senior Windows and Linux engineers as needed. Perform other cyber-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen Must have, or obtain within 3 months of start date, a current DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) Active DoD Secret security clearance preferred. Exceptionally qualified candidates may be considered without a clearance if eligible to obtain one promptly Preferred Qualifications: Active DoD Secret security clearance of above. Bachelor's degree or above in an IT or Cybersecurity related field of study Experience working for the DoD and/or government contracts

Compensation: Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 annually. Final compensation is based on experience, education, and directly relevant certifications.
