Cyber Systems Engineer

Responsibilities We are hiring a Cyber Systems Engineer for our program onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.
What you'll do:
Create and maintain eMASS packages using vendor and organization provided information.
Assist and advise product offices on DoD RMF continuous monitoring requirements.
Employ DoD Risk Management Framework, determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; research information security standards; conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; study architecture/platform; assist PM ASE SME’s in identifying integration issues and prepare cost estimates.
Create and complete documentation and artifacts in support of continuous monitoring activities.
Verify security systems by by using DoD approved technologies such as STIG/ACAS/Static Code Analysis.
Maintain security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting table-top exercises.
Review DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments.
Ensure that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure.
Design and upgrade program of record systems and special purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity.
Qualifications What you'll need:
5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 7 years with AA, in lieu of degree 9 years of applicable experience will be acceptable.
Experience with Army Risk Management Framework 2.0.
Familiarity with National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
Experience with Assured Compliance and Assessment Solution (ACAS).
Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Clearance needed:
Active DoD Secret clearance.
