We are seeking a talented cybersecurity professional to elevate our efforts in system hardening, vulnerability assessment, and security compliance in alignment with DoD standards. If you have a robust foundation in cybersecurity and experience in supporting both Linux and Windows environments within DoD networks, we want you on our team! As part of our collaborative environment, you will work alongside Blue Team, Red Team, and other cybersecurity experts to enhance our cyber defense and system accreditation initiatives. Note: This position is contingent on the award of a contract expected in December 2025. Clearance Requirements: An ACTIVE Secret clearance (IT Level II Tier 5 / Special-Sensitive Position) is required. Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is mandatory to obtain a clearance. Primary Responsibilities: Craft and maintain Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages for systems. Create comprehensive security documentation including: Authorization Boundary Diagram System Security Plan implementation plan Privacy Impact Assessment Conduct annual FISMA assessments and perform continuous monitoring of systems. Utilize the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) tool for system testing and the implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG). Analyze cybersecurity test results to document findings and develop action plans. Qualifications: In-depth knowledge of computer security and DoD cybersecurity policies. Exceptional communication skills for effective presentations. Must have one of the following certifications: CASP+ CE CCNP Security CISA CISSP (Associate or Full) GCED GCIH CCSP Preferred Skills: Total of 10 years professional experience in computer security and DoD policies. Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework and boundary defense techniques. Experience in implementing STIG and conducting vulnerability assessments with ACAS. Expertise in remediating vulnerabilities on Linux and Windows systems. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering. Compensation: The projected annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $160,000, reflecting your qualifications against our corporate compensation framework. Why SimVentions?
