Dev Sec Ops Engineer Sr - GMD Weapons Systems (GWS)

Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks. The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.

What you'll get to do:

• Provide automation configuration with tools like Ansible to automate build and configuration processes
• Develop Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) process and tools, deployment strategies
• Build and deploy containers and containerization technologies
• Enable and lead Agile management and collaboration, leveraging tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab
• Learn new technologies and tools to enable rapid and secure, scalable capability
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Python

Pay rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
