4DV ANALYTICS is looking for DevOps Field Engineer to join our DevOps team. The candidate will be working with a senior company officer and supporting customer operations at customer facilities and in the field locations (CONUS) using new techniques and emerging technologies to support customer missions. Required : Familiarity with Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu and/or Redhat) Familiarity with or willing to learn GIT version control system Familiarity with Containers (Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes) Ability to multitask and prioritize Strong interdisciplinary problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills This position requires occasional travel Willingness to apply for a government security clearance

Preferred (Not Required) : Configuration Management or Infrastructure as Code experience (ex. Ansible, Puppet, Terraform) Experience compiling open source software Mesh Networking and VPN Software experience (ex. Tailscale, Zerotier, Openvpn) Familiarity with a structured programming language; such as Python, Node.js A Secret security clearance is a plus
