Engineer Project Manager Intern

Woolpert is proud to support the DoD SkillBridge program and is seeking an Engineer Project Manager Intern to join our dynamic Aviation team in Texas! This SkillBridge opportunity offers a hybrid schedule from our Houston, San Antonio, or Dallas/Fort Worth offices, providing hands-on experience and mentorship as you prepare for your civilian career.
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the design, planning, and execution of aviation and airfield projects. This role involves overseeing the preparation of technical documents, coordinating with key stakeholders such as TxDOT and project sponsors, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and experience with FFA regulations.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Professional Engineer License
- Project Management experience managing Aviation projects
- Expert in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Must be able to travel to meet the needs and demands of the project
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and manage cross-functional relationships
