Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Drafter/Jr. Engineer to join our dynamic team focused on security equipment for detention centers. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting using AutoCAD software. This individual will work closely with our project management teams to create detailed drawings and plans for the installation of different types of security equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed drawings and plans for security equipment
• Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accurate integration of security equipment.
• Generate as-built drawings and documentation upon project completion.
• Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and equipment lists.
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure accurate implementation of designed systems.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software or Solid Works, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting and design.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
