Join a team pushing the limits of wireless communications technology. This senior-level role focuses on advanced modem and waveform development, DSP, and RF system design for innovative wireless systems.
• Develop and implement advanced DSP algorithms
• Design and optimize digital filters, transforms, and other processing techniques
• Analyze and interpret complex data for actionable insights
• Integrate DSP solutions into hardware and software systems
• Optimize real-time signal processing algorithms across platforms
• Troubleshoot, debug, and refine algorithms for peak performance
• Conduct simulations, modeling, and feasibility studies
• Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance
• Document designs, testing procedures, and specifications
What you bring
• Expertise in digital communications and RF systems, including modem and link margin analysis
• FPGA development experience (VHDL or Verilog)
• Proficiency in digital filter techniques, Fourier analysis, and tracking loops
• RF circuit design skills (cascades, mixing, amplifiers, filtering, oscillators)
• Knowledge of nonlinear circuits and simulation techniques
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink (DSP Systems Toolbox required) and HDL Coder
• Familiarity with ModelSim, LabVIEW, TI Code Composer Studio, Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus Prime
• Experience with signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers
• Strong technical project leadership and communication skills
Education and experience
• Ph.D. in Communications and Signal Processing preferred
• MS in Digital Signal Processing required
• 5+ years DSP design experience or related research
Additional details
• Salary: $125,000–$165,000 depending on experience
