Employment Type: Full-time
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote
Salary: $108,000-$125,000 dependent on experience
Level: Mid

General Responsibilities

Pre-Design Engineering
-Review existing as-built drawings
-Perform field investigations
-Set up drawings and models for multiple disciplines
-Collaborate with team members regarding design coordination, schedules, and deliverables
-Perform feasibility studies
-Prepare schematic designs

Design Engineering
-Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE
-Develop single-line diagrams and load schedules
-Design lighting selection and controls
-Design normal, emergency, and renewable power systems
-Perform Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies

Position Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Field
-Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification is preferred
-LEED Accreditation is a plus
-PE License is a plus
-Professional Associations are a plus

Working Knowledge

-Experienced with Revit and Autocad
-California Building Code
-National Electrical Code
-Net Zero Energy/Carbon experience a plus
-Experience with Project Management is preferred
