Electrical Design Engineer

To work directly with the electrical lead engineer for the design of building projects in Darien, IL.

Required:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Fundamentals of Engineer Exam taken a plus.
• Applicants shall have completed coursework in engineering and/or have practical design experience working on building systems.
• Up to 4 years of Electrical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA70, NFPA72 and Chicago Building Codes a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCad and REVIT MEP preferred (training available).

Responsibilities:

• Design projects from schematic design through construction under Senior Engineer.
• Provide necessary support as required for lighting, power, riser diagrams, electrical circuiting, voice/data, security, AV and fire alarm systems.
• Check shop drawings and assist during construction.
• Majority of responsibility will be production work.

Pay Range-$25-$35/hr

Must be able to work in office.
