Qualifications:

BSEE 7+ years experience in electrical power design or related industry NEC, NFPA, Life Safety, and building codes Experience from pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, industrial, research and development, & commercial manufacturing facilities Proficiency with AutoCAD  (REVIT MEP experience is a plus) Great communication, able to handle client facing activities

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Principal Electrical authority to ensure compliance with engineering quality levels for assigned projects Oversee development of design concepts to ensure proper application and execution Verify work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings Apply clients’ risk management practices of project engineering Lead the discipline design to produce construction documents that meet project requirements within given schedules/budgets without excessive resources Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of discipline engineering Encourage collaboration to develop the best solutions Apply best practices to set the proper direction of the project in SDs and DDs Manage work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours Write studies and reports for electrical systems on projects Execute complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or limited coordination Evaluate Value Engineering (cost-cutting) items with respect to level of risk Edit and develop basis of design narratives documenting project scope Meet with contractors to review design details
