Trillium Construction is now seeking an Electrical Service Engineer in Massillon, OH!
Trillium Construction is hiring on behalf of a well-established leader in electrical and mechanical services based in Massillon, OH. The company specializes in servicing electro-mechanical apparatus across various industries.
The Electrical Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical service and support in both shop and field settings. This includes overseeing large-scale projects, performing electrical testing, start-ups, repairs, and installations, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: -Execute shop and field assignments with a high degree of professionalism and quality. -Collaborate with team members to assess scope, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. -Perform electrical testing on motors, generators, and transformers. -Conduct maintenance and repairs on switchgear and transformers. -Interface directly with customers to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. -Prepare detailed service reports describing work performed. -Provide technical support to customers and internal field personnel. -Assist with quotations and special projects as assigned. -Travel to customer sites as required. -Serve as a mentor to field personnel, offering guidance on general tasks and specialized skills. -Adhere to all safety, quality, and environmental procedures, reporting any noncompliance. -Maintain a professional demeanor in all customer and vendor interactions. -Report and help resolve customer complaints in collaboration with the Quality department. -Support special assignments as designated by the General Manager.
Performance Metrics: -Efficient service execution with minimal rework or warranty costs. -Consistent on-time completion of service calls and projects. -High customer satisfaction and successful resolution of service requests.

Preferred Qualifications: -Hands-on experience with medium to large-scale electro-mechanical service projects. -Deep expertise in one or more areas of electrical/mechanical field service. -Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. -Strong customer service orientation. -Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). -Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Required Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent.
