Electrical Engineer Champlin, MN | Direct Hire | $100k - $130k The Senior Electrical Engineer leads the design of electrical control systems for the company’s products, ensuring safe, efficient operation while meeting company standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities: Oversee design and development of LV/MV switchgear control systems, ensuring compliance with codes and customer specs. Lead design efforts using AutoCAD Electrical and implement engineering standards. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to customers and field service teams. Mentor engineering teams through training and documentation. Stay updated on industry trends and support new product development. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Provide on-site technical support (up to 10% travel). Ensure adherence to quality and safety regulations. Qualifications: 10+ years designing electrical control systems for switchgear, panelboards, and control panels. Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical and electrical test equipment. Strong project management, coordination, and communication skills. Ability to design LV/MV equipment and support product assembly and testing. Experience in mechanical design tools (e.g., SolidWorks PDM) is a plus. Background in renewables, data centers, or battery systems is a plus.
