Electrical Test Engineer

Responsibilities • Develop and execute test procedures for spacecraft components and subsystems (electrical, RF, propulsion, GN&C, thermal). • Support integration and functional testing, including pre-mate checks, power-up, and system verification. • Document results and generate test reports while tracking performance metrics. • Troubleshoot test anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. • Review schematics, wiring diagrams, and component specifications to support troubleshooting. • Operate electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) including power supplies, electronic loads, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and RF test equipment. Preferred Background • Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience with several years in aerospace testing or system integration. • Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting at the unit or subsystem level. • Ability to support occasional off-hours testing when required. Desired Skills • Experience with automated test tools or scripting. • Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop or FlatSat test setups. • Knowledge of spacecraft ground systems and Linux-based environments. • Experience working in cleanroom integration environments. • Background in requirements verification and structured failure analysis methods.
