Description: Impact Summary:
As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and enhancement of electrical systems for military aircraft, ensuring operational effectiveness and safety. Your contributions will directly affect the design, testing, and implementation phases, impacting the reliability and performance of critical defense technologies. You will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to deliver innovative solutions that meet stringent government and military specifications.
Responsibilities:
Research and design electrical components, systems, and installations for military applications.
Analyze requirements and prepare detailed engineering and technical reports, change proposals, and technical documentation.
Assist in the development of maintenance and testing procedures for electronic components and systems.
Perform analysis of digital, analog, and RF signal waveforms. Setup, simulate, and test MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC 429 data bus systems. Utilize Navigational playback data and forward remote users on data buses with data.
Perform complex calculations in MS Excel and MATLAB.
Support the supervision of manufacturing and installation processes of electrical equipment.
Work under the guidance of senior engineers to complete tasks and enhance professional skills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
0 – 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in a military or defense setting.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to electrical system design and analysis. Basic experience with MATLAB and Excel is required.
Experience in Manufacturing and/or Air Vehicle Wiring is preferred.
Experience with various test equipment is preferred.
Eligibility for security clearance as required by Government contracts.
No special training or substitutions are needed.
Travel is required as needed.
