Summary: Software engineers apply engineering principles and knowledge of programming languages to build software solutions for end users. Design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This position supports our cloud platform (AWS).

Responsibilities:

Analyzes and understands user stories and technical requirements, proposing solutions that meet business needs and considering technical feasibility.
Designs, develops, and tests code solutions in accordance with coding standards and best
practices.
Writes clear and concise unit tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
Utilizes version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes and collaborate effectively within a team.
Demonstrates a basic understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD
concepts.
Collaborates with team members to achieve project goals and results.
Supports colleagues with basic tasks to facilitate project completion and meet deadlines.
Applies critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze, plan, and implement assigned
technical tasks.
Creates clear and concise technical documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing management.
Stays up-to-date with emerging technologies and actively participates in learning opportunities.
Continuously monitors system performance and reports potential issues to the team.
Adopts Agile methodologies to develop software, participating in sprint planning and execution.
Level of oversight: independent work under moderate to general supervision / general instructions on new work and projects.

Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or
a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a relevant programming language and basic software
development principles.
Supervision Received: Receives close supervision from senior engineers and team leads.
Learns and develops technical skills under guidance.
Decision Making: Makes basic decisions related to technical tasks assigned. Escalates
complex issues or design decisions to senior engineers or team leads.
Client Contact: May occasionally interact with business analysts, product owners, or
project managers to clarify requirements or provide technical updates.
