This is a full-time opportunity for college graduates who have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and have obtained their Engineering Intern (EI) license. We will also consider those who are in the process of obtaining their EI License. Purpose & Need

What You'll Do Understand the concepts of geometry design Understand the development of pay item quantities and calculations Understand the process for development of a project cost estimate Effectively research projects and assist with marketing efforts from a roadway point-of-view Gain proficiency in technical writing Gain proficiency in all design standards, manuals, and criteria Gain proficiency in the use of MicroStation or AutoCAD, including civil platforms (such as OpenRoads Designer, Civil3D, etc.) Requires moderate technical supervision of tasks by senior staff Complete tasks and projects within expectations of Project Manager, Supervisor or Task Lead What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent from an ABET Accredited University, majoring in Civil or Environmental Engineering 0-4 years of post-graduation experience Engineering Intern (EI) certificate or ability to obtain within 1 year What You'll Bring Knowledge about CADD Systems Good verbal and written communications skills Good attention to detail and organizational skills Skill in working with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other Office Products Working Conditions The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
