We’re hiring an Entry-Level Field Service Engineer to support on-site work with high-precision measurement and metrology systems. You’ll be based in Indiana and regularly travel to customer sites across Alabama, Tennessee, and nearby regions. This is a field-based role—there are no remote capabilities, but your home serves as your office when not on the road.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Travel to manufacturing facilities to install, maintain, and service precision CMM and metrology systems
Perform hardware and software calibrations on systems such as Nikon, LK METROLOGY, Mitutoyo, and Zeiss
Troubleshoot technical issues and complete calibrations and alignment procedures
Maintain service logs and communicate clearly with internal support and client teams
Deliver on-site support with a high level of professionalism and technical precision
What You Bring:
1–2 years of hands-on mechanical or field service experience (technical training, internships, or school projects count!)
Exposure to CMM machines or metrology tools (Nikon, LK METROLOGY, Mitutoyo, Zeiss, Elkay, OKCMM) is a big plus
Willingness to travel frequently —3–4 weeks per month—and work independently at client locations
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Clear and professional communication
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
