Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Working closely with a design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction. Working on water and wastewater projects, related to municipal facilities and infrastructure. Preparing engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and performing engineering calculations. Coordinate with discipline engineers (structural, architectural, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation and controls, and site civil) to collaborate on design and construction activities. Review contractor shop drawing submittals and RFIs. Performing field work and site visits from design through construction. Preparing engineering specifications, data sheets, sketches, drawings and performing engineering calculations.
Minimum Qualifications: B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical or related engineering discipline. EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months. Entry Level to 2 years of experience Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications: M.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical or related engineering discipline. Proficient in CAD/BIM and GIS
