Responsibilities

Design, plan and perform environmental engineering duties for water and wastewater facilities. Duties may include: Use data-driven modeling to inform design and operational decisions in water/wastewater processes. These include membrane treatment, biofiltration, granular activated carbon adsorption, and disinfection processes. Perform applied research on water treatment processes using data-driven modeling method. Develop a new line of business where data-driven modeling is core in the proposal. Leading machine learning and mechanistic modeling projects and pursuits. Advising on best practices for data collection and management to facilitate application of machine learning and mechanistic models on projects and operations. Working with Technical Practice directors to identify and develop machine-learning opportunities across the one water spectrum. Supporting the Digital Water Group on digital intelligence project delivery and company coordination efforts. Working with the Blue Plan-it® Decision Support Team on projects and the development of additional capabilities within Blue Plan-it®. Applying machine learning and other data analysis tools to identify trends from bench and pilot-scale tests conducted at Water ARC®. Participating in and leading applied research related to machine learning and mechanistic modeling. May telecommute

Qualifications

Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Wastewater Engineering or a related field. Plus, two years of work experience as an Environmental Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Civil Engineering, Wastewater Engineer or a related occupation

Pay Range

The salary range for this position is $114,608 to $133,019/year. May be eligible for standard corporate benefits.
