About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Instrumentation and Controls Designer to join our dynamic team in the engineering sector. In this role, you will contribute to developing integrated control and safety system drawings, collaborating on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) projects, and ensuring proposals contain clearly defined material and delivery information.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of Integrated Control & Safety System drawings with input from system vendor designers.
- Develop instrument engineering deliverables including layout drawings, installation diagrams, and loop diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines during project development and installation of CCS projects.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and lessons learned.
Requirements
- Certification in instrument control systems engineering, or related field.
- 5-10 years' experience in designing Control Systems.
- CAD software proficiency, AutoCAD or SolidWorks, 3D Modelling with Navisworks.
- Experience with international codes and standards in instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience with AVEVA software.
- Understanding of Hazardous Area certification requirements.
