Main responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities will include repairs and preventative maintenance on Distribution Center equipment and the building. Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety are essential in this role. Perform routine maintenance on industrial grade equipment.
Interpret & make repairs using service manuals.
Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, and correct electrical problems with machinery & equipment.
Troubleshoot problems on an individual and group level.
Provide verbal feedback to management, mechanics and machine operators about downtime root causes, repair progress status and process improvement opportunities on the shop floor.
Track & report daily maintenance activities, update PM work orders and complete maintenance-related paperwork.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Must be safety conscious and follow all safety policies & procedures.
Possess writing skills to track and report daily maintenance activities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow written instructions found on PM work orders
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in a supply chain environment.
High School Diploma or GED.
Mechanical/Trade School Certification preferred but not required.
Strong electrical background w/PLC experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
Experience working with 110-480V systems; AC & DC control systems.
Welding skills (TIG, MIG, Stick) are helpful but not required.

The pay range is $24.40 to $38.00 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
