Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer at our office in Milpitas, CA.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for failure analysis on customer and internal FAs.
  • Perform bench/CT electrical test for both Discrete and IC products.
  • Responsible for root cause analysis.
  • Interface with Design/Product Engineering/Reliability on FA issues.
  • Publish FA reports in a timely manner.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum is a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics/Material Science Engineering. Master degree is preferred.
  • The candidate ideally would have 5-10 years of FA/Product Engineering or related experience.
  • Must be familiar with curve trace and bench testing on ICs.
  • Must be familiar with FA techniques such as EMMI, Laser Scan, Thermal, X-ray, SEM, EDX, and device deprocessing.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity with both Digital and Analog circuits.
