Field Network Engineer (Cisco)

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (On-site with regional travel) Job Type: W2 Contract only, no C2C/1099 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hourly Rate: $42/hr Firm Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Field Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. This role involves configuring, installing, and troubleshooting Cisco network equipment across a large healthcare network, including 24 hospitals and 300 clinics throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Key Responsibilities:

Configure, install, and troubleshoot Cisco switches in accordance with company standards and templates. Perform network troubleshooting and support for Cisco Routing and Switching environments. Conduct wireless site surveys and manage Wi-Fi access points and LAN controllers. Travel to various healthcare facilities across the DFW area to provide on-site network support. Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure network reliability and performance. Required Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of Cisco Access Layer switches and wireless networking. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regional travel. Preferred Certifications & Skills:

Certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CCNA, Network+, Security+ Experience with Cisco ISE/TrustSec and Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC) Familiarity with Avaya and VoIP technologies Travel Requirements:

Daily travel required to healthcare facilities across the DFW metroplex.
