The Firewall/Proxy Engineer plays a critical role in safeguarding the Bank's technology and digital assets. This position is responsible for mitigating exposure to cyber threats, security risks, and unauthorized access by assessing networks, applications, and systems for potential vulnerabilities.
The engineer implements and manages security measures to protect assets and information, responds to and resolves security incidents, and continuously strengthens defenses based on evolving threats and industry best practices. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a deep understanding of firewall and proxy technologies.
In addition to technical responsibilities, the Firewall/Proxy Engineer may provide guidance and oversight to less experienced team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and excellence across the organization.
Qualifications In depth knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall, including Panorama is highly desired Knowledge of ZScaler is REQUIRED Basic troubleshooting of network traffic is REQUIRED Python Scripting (with API's to FWs) is nice to have NSX Firewall knowledge is REQUIRED
