JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Senior Manager, DEX Digital Operations, the Adobe Products Engineer, will play a pivotal role in advancing Marriott's digital objectives through strategic utilization of Adobe's Experience Cloud products. This role is integral to supporting the Digital Experiments program and driving Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) efforts. This role will leverage Adobe Tags (formerly Adobe Launch), Target, and Analytics to enhance user experience on M.com, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of digital initiatives. The position involves strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement of digital capabilities to align with Marriott's global digital and mobile strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategies to support digital experiments and CRO initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical architecture
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with brand, loyalty, marketing, and technology teams to plan and deploy new capabilities
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues related to analytics tracking and Adobe Target test campaigns, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Tactical Objectives:
Trouble-shooting issues regarding Adobe Target test campaigns
Support an ongoing migration from a page-level data layer-based web page to new page technologies ACDL and Web SDK
Design and implements critical components of technology to support Marriott Digital Experiments
Tracking user behavior on web and app through link tracking and page-load data capture
Creating new data pipes for transferring data to partners using Adobe's Event-Handling service
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, or equivalent education and related training
5+ years of development or IT support experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and work on multiple projects
Strong experience with Adobe target, should be aware of Audience rules and setup
Advanced knowledge in JavaScript platforms, AJAX, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, and SQL
Working knowledge of above-code technology (ie: Adobe Tags (formerly Launch)), ideally across multiple products in Adobe Experience Cloud (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Target etc.)
Experience testing cross-browser compatibility and implementing UI/visual designs within ADA and security principles
Familiarity with DOM/Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Multimedia Content
Proven experience dynamically interacting with the Browser DOM via JavaScript
Experience with page-level data layer and proxy tools such as Chrome developer tools
Must be able to troubleshoot scripting issues on digital platforms using browser's console and other tools

Ensure personal availability to deploy hot fixes and maintain system up-time for capabilities deployed within environment; working to resolve outages quickly and effectively
Deliver capabilities to modernize tech stack capabilities on owned channels, aligned with the latest industry trends
Great care and craft for designing systems and building campaigns correctly from day one, with appropriate planning and communication of delivery and updates

The pay range for this position is $40.81 to $67.98 per hour.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
