Full-Time or Part-Time | $100,000 - $150,000/year (based on experience)
A well-established multidisciplinary consulting firm is seeking a Senior Forensic Consultant to join its growing team in Philadelphia, PA. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer ready to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to high-impact forensic investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct forensic investigations of residential and commercial properties to determine causes of structural failures, water intrusions, roof damage, and more
- Assess damage from natural disasters such as storms, hurricanes, and floods
- Prepare detailed engineering reports outlining cause and origin of damage
- Manage multiple projects and maintain consistent communication with clients
- Perform field inspections, including roofs, crawlspaces, and walking surfaces
- Travel locally for site visits
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of architectural or engineering experience, including at least 1 year in forensic engineering
- E.I.T. required; P.E. license preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
- Experience with insurance/law firms, expert testimony, and project management is a plus
- Background in accident reconstruction or automotive failure analysis is a bonus
