Our client a pioneering player in AI-driven simulation technology is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the frontier of autonomy and machine learning, helping engineers across the globe test and validate cutting-edge perception systems using synthetic data.
The ideal candidate will be technically strong, proactive, and comfortable working directly with customers. You'll serve as the technical backbone for implementation projects, enabling clients to onboard, scale, and succeed with a highly specialized simulation platform. Key Responsibilities:
Lead onboarding and integration efforts for new customers, including API usage, SDK setup, and simulation configuration Deliver technical demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements tailored to perception and autonomy use cases Troubleshoot customer issues and liaise with internal teams to ensure quick resolution Build strong relationships with client engineering teams through check-ins, workshops, and direct support Relay technical feedback, feature requests, and workflow insights to Product and Engineering Support expansion by identifying technical blockers and enabling broader adoption Represent the product at technical events such as hackathons, webinars, and dev talks
Essential Experience:
3-5 years as a Software, Field, or Customer Engineer in a technically demanding environment Advanced Python skills required for integrations, automation, and demo workflows Strong grasp of simulation or perception pipelines (e.g., LiDAR, camera, sensor data) Familiarity with ML and computer vision workflows Confident communicator and cross-functional collaborator Experience in technical pre-sales or solutions engineering roles Exposure to scene reconstruction tools like NeRF or Gaussian Splatting Past experience with simulation-based software or visual computing tools
