As a Media Server Engineer, you'll create exceptional visual experiences in the home of the world's longest-running radio show and Nashville's most iconic performances, the Grand Ole Opry House. You'll set up, operate, and maintain video equipment and systems for live and taped productions, streaming, recordings, and specialized video needs in collaboration with artists, production teams, and clients. As the ideal candidate, you'll take pride in ensuring flawless video production that meets the highest industry standards, helping preserve and broadcast an unparalleled country music legacy to audiences around the world through cutting-edge technology. Physical Requirements

Speak and hear to communicate effectively and use both near and distant vision. Frequently stand and walk, and occasionally climb and descend stairs and uneven terrain. May be required to work at heights of 50-100 feet (catwalks, man lifts, etc.). Often sit, kneel, bend, and reach to move and observe equipment. Regularly lift and carry up to and exceeding 50 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and precise hand coordination for tasks such as using a computer and equipment installation.

Working Conditions

Normal office conditions, often in close contact with others. Live music and event environments with variable weather conditions, large crowds, and elevated noise levels.

This position requires a pre-employment drug screening (4-panel: phencyclidine, cocaine, amphetamines, and opiates).
