Join our team of experienced engineers in developing and institutionalizing a Digital Engineering environment to confront these challenges. As a Systems Engineer, you will provide end-to-end Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services to a National Customer. Duties include: Understanding NITF imagery standards and specifications, evaluating imagery products, and determining necessary updates. Facilitating Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and engineering working groups to review engineering artifacts, CONOPS, interfaces, and architecture products. Identifying enterprise and system risks, executing risk mitigation, and closing risks through the Risk Management process. Supporting project management tasks such as requirements development, project planning, needs assessment, and transition planning. Identifying integration issues and coordinating their resolution through Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs). Providing technical assessments of engineering change requests and recommending management actions. Supporting decision-making, technical consultation, meeting coordination, and developing initial recommendations for government decision-makers. Qualifications: 9-12 years with BS/BA, 7-10 years with MS/MA, or 7+ years with PhD. Current and active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field. Familiarity with NITF imagery standards and specifications. Ability to evaluate technical aspects of imagery products and determine appropriate updates. Self-starter with minimal oversight, capable of completing tasks timely. Experience in Requirements Engineering, CONOPS development, and system integration. Experience with customer domain integration and closure. Ability to identify user needs, gaps, solutions, and analyze alternatives. Effective within SETA, FFRDC, and government lines of authority. Strong systems engineering process knowledge and communication skills. Desired Skills: Familiarity with IC customer operations, mission processing, sensor knowledge. Knowledge of commercial imagery providers (e.g., Maxar, Planet, BlackSky). Tools: Cameo, Tableau, Confluence, Jira.
