Description and Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the deployment and initial configuration of data center equipment, including servers, storage systems, and SAN switches (main hardware brands: Lenovo, NetApp, IBM, Brocade).
- Perform firmware and firmware upgrades for hardware devices.
- Conduct routine administration and inspection of hardware equipment.
- Handle hardware troubleshooting and coordinate repair requests.
- Manage the hardware lifecycle, including planning, tracking, and retirement.
- 5 plus years of experience in server and storage operation and maintenance; familiar with hardware maintenance skills for mainstream brands such as Lenovo, NetApp, and IBM.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in server hardware architecture (e.g., CPU, memory, RAID cards) and troubleshooting methods.
- Solid understanding of SAN/NAS technologies (including FC and iSCSI protocols), multipath configuration, and storage virtualization.
- Strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently, with excellent problem analysis and resolution skills.
