Position Summary

Contribute to the growth of ENTEC by providing professional consulting to our clients regarding their HVAC facility needs. Evaluate client requirements and offer solutions which represent the best performance and lowest total cost of ownership. Determine the projected time frame needed to complete a project and additional factors such as labor needs, materials, budgets, and potential setbacks. Work with the outside sales team and project managers to ensure a positive outcome for our clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing design assistance on mechanical projects as needed including working within other teams such as Building Automation Systems and Engineering Supporting the Sales Team in estimating mechanical projects and support contracts Building estimates within the tools provided and collaborating with sales to meet or exceed target margins Assisting the Sales Team in determining whether the work can be executed in-house or if it should be subcontracted Planning field time with each territory rep on a monthly and as-needed basis Conducting Sales Team training monthly as coordinated with your supervisor Creating and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and partners Working closely with Project Managers to ensure the best possible outcome of each project from both a performance and profitability perspective Attending all scheduled sales and company meetings as assigned Other duties as assigned Objectives:

Initial objectives in your new role include: Increase the field knowledge of the Sales Territory Managers Increase personal knowledge through continuing education Maintain membership in the local chapter of ASHRAE and attend as many meetings as reasonably possible Provide support in a timely manner to meet both company and customer needs Maintain an average target margin on estimated jobs Review closed projects monthly to evaluate estimated versus actual project margins Qualifications and Capabilities

Required: HVAC Industry Estimating Experience A strong work ethic Preferred: Engineering and/or design experience Four-year degree in Business, Project Management or Mechanical Engineering Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components and install practices Ability to analyze project documents, identify issues, make improvement suggestions and develop accurate cost estimates Understand total cost of ownership vs first cost Must project a professional image Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well as part of a team and independently Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals Able to demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines Must possess and maintain an exceptional work ethic, uphold company values, and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others Fluent in Microsoft applications and customer relationship management software. Salesforce experience is a plus Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly Ability to kneel, squat, twist, bend, and reach regularly Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, use hand tools with dexterity and grasp and manipulate small objects Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, as required Ability to regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, and operate phones and computers Ability to climb ladders Anticipated Salary Range and Employee Benefits $85,000 - $100,000, depending on level of experience Car allowance for business use of personal vehicle Wide range of employee benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and paid time off
