SMMA has an opportunity for a HVAC Project Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience. This position offers the ability to lead a range of multiple design project types and requires a good balance of leadership, technical, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects from concept design through construction administration in a range of project types
Demonstrate experience with a range of system types and ability to support technical discussions
Prepare HVAC drawings utilizing Autodesk Revit Building Information Modelling (BIM) Software
Conduct construction site visits and review construction administration submittals
Guide and mentor junior team members throughout project design phases
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in HVAC systems design and leading projects
FE/PE Registration is preferred
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Load Calculation programs and MS Office
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to conduct visits to active construction sites and climb ladders.
