Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a System Engineer responsible for architectural design and development, end-to-end engineering of interfaces, both internal and external, and architectural level system engineering activities. The role includes defining and managing system requirements and verification activities.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity. An additional four (4) years of general engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree. Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Multi-discipline background including hardware and software development, with experience working in an Agile environment. Ability to assess architectural limitations in areas such as scaling, speed, and throughput. Knowledge of SIGINT mission systems. Understanding of commercial technologies and best practices related to SIGINT. Experience supporting system and software architecture, development, requirements analysis, and testing. Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, IPv4/6. Familiarity with code development, testing, and configuration management tools. Proficiency with Linux and scripting in Perl. Familiarity with XML/XSD, messaging, and schemas.
