Analog Devices is seeking Industrial Engineers to join our Engineering team in Camas, Washington where they will elevate and improve Fab performance through ongoing data analysis, value stream mapping, and accurate capacity modeling used to develop process optimization recommendations and actions. The successful candidates will drive cycle time reduction through innovative Industrial Engineering techniques while interfacing at all levels of the organization to meet the goal of satisfying our customers. Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to:
- Analyze data to identify key issues across a broad range of areas and effectively communicate recommendations to executive leadership
- Translate business requirements (cycle time, output goals, staffing optimization, etc...) into technical/project deliverables
- Drive solution development, change management, and monitor department efficiencies to manage both long and short-term customer delivery
- Develop, maintain and enhance key User Interface tools like our capacity model, inventory optimization tools, and cycle-time trackers
- Review, analyze and challenge existing reports and commentaries and assist management to facilitate stakeholder's requirements and deliverables
- Responsible to prepare, analyze and present key operational metrics, performance against targets and trends to senior management, including improvement recommendations and solutions
- Coordinate and collaborate with key groups like IT, Supply Chain Management, Process Engineering, and other site support groups to meet internal and external customer demand
- Partner directly with one to two manufacturing modules to optimize production for bottleneck toolsets and drive projects to increase efficiency
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dynamic, meticulous, proactive, prepared to take initiative, drive change, and have the following at a minimum:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or other engineering discipline
- Entry level industry experience; 0-5 years
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong data analysis skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects across geographically disbursed teams
- Key skills: SQL, Python, Tableau, VBA, advanced statistics, problem solving mindset, analytic acumen
Eligible for Relocation: Yes
The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $74,400 to $102,300. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors. This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits. Benefits for the position include 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
